Being reckless with public health is an efficient way to cause outbreaks

Jha discusses some of the ways in which Donald Trump’s presidency might transform the US healthcare system.1 The Trump administration is being reckless with public health through the guise of a commitment to “government efficiency.” We are concerned about the implications for vaccine programmes, which could be a target for “de-funding” considering Robert F Kennedy Jr’s record of vaccine safety revisionism.2
