Burnett and colleagues advocate for dignifying “person centred and trauma informed accommodation in the community” for people seeking asylum.1 General practice is crucial in providing the “wrap around support to prioritise recovery needs and access to appropriate and timely healthcare.”1 Yet, a recent survey we conducted of London’s general practice workforce in 2024 found that 69% of respondents wanted further support in engaging with asylum seekers and refugees.
