Emma Ahlqvist (née Rankin) was born in Belfast in 1982 and from an early age she was driven by compassion and intellectual curiosity to pursue a career in medicine.
From 2001 to 2007 she lit up Dundee Medical School with her intelligence, insight, and generous wit. Lifelong friends can attest to her warmth and care. She was non-judgmental, kind, and inclusive.
