Most of UK is now out of step with rest of Europe on drink driving limits

Pressure is increasing for lower drink driving limits across the United Kingdom, as Scotland fell into line with most of Europe in reducing its legal limit.
The new law in Scotland, which came into force on 5 December, reduces the amount of blood alcohol that people can legally have before driving from 80 mg to 50 mg in every 100 mL of blood.
