Dr. Fyezah Jehan is a distinguished Paediatrician specializing in Infectious Diseases, trained in Pakistan. She holds the Ruby and Karim Bahadur Ali Jessani Endowed Chair in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at The Aga Khan University. As a dedicated clinician, researcher, and educator, Dr. Jehan boasts a multifaceted research portfolio in Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, having published over 100 articles in esteemed academic journals. She is an active member of several international boards, including the WHO's STAGE on Maternal Newborn Child Adolescent Health and Nutrition and the Medical Research Council Applied Global Health Research Board of Faculty. She also serves on various journal editorial boards.
Dr. Jehan remains committed to leading the provision of complementary services, encompassing community-based antenatal and post-natal care for pregnant women and newborns, as well as the management of prevalent childhood illnesses in children. Her research endeavours centre around applying innovative methodologies to comprehend and tackle the morbidity and mortality issues prevalent in Global Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH).
