Giselle Jones

Giselle qualified as a doctor in 1996 and worked as a general physician for two years. She then moved to the Birmingham Poisons Information Service, where she continued her clinical work and compiled evidence based information for health professionals dealing with cases of poisoning, and for the Department of Health.

She moved to BMJ (the publishing group) in 2000 and soon after became the deputy editor of Clinical Evidence (a compendium of the best evidence on common clinical interventions). In 2002 she became the papers editor of The BMJ and has since been the editorials editor before moving to the education team, where she is responsible for specialist clinical reviews.
