As a forward-looking and progressive acute trust, we operate across four sites. The Lister Hospital provides acute services, while the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) specializes in cancer services. Additionally, Queen Elizabeth II and Hertford County Hospital offer non-acute services. Our focus remains on continually enhancing the high-quality care we provide, undergoing a transformative journey.

With a turnover of £540m and a dedicated team of 6,600 employees, we extend our services across East and North Hertfordshire and parts of South Bedfordshire, catering to nearly 650,000 individuals.

Our pride lies in our remarkable achievements. We boast one of the country's lowest mortality rates and have consistently achieved a small financial surplus for the years 2019/20 and 2020/21. Moreover, our staff vacancy rate has reached its lowest ever, and we have successfully met our cancer waiting time targets throughout the past year. Notably, in October 2020, we received the prestigious regional NHS Parliamentary Award for our unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive staff support.
