Loren De Freitas

I received my medical degree from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago and also completed a PhD in Health and Related Research (Health Services Research) from the University of Sheffield, UK in 2019. My clinical interests include emergency medicine and primary care and I work in both the public and private health sector in Trinidad. I am interested in health services research and climate change and health research. I also have an interest in strengthening research culture in the Caribbean region and using research and evidence to create robust health policies and practices.
