Navjoyt is a clinical editor and practicing GP.
Navjoyt joined The BMJ in 2013. She is currently part of The BMJ’s international team of research editors. In her role as UK research editor she has a specific focus on encouraging and championing research from the UK.
She has previously headed up the scholarly comment and education sections of the journal.
Navjoyt qualified as a doctor from King’s College London in 2005 and has an intercalated undergraduate degree in developmental neurobiology. From 2009-2010 she worked as a clinical editor at BMJ Clinical Evidence, commissioning and editing systematic reviews that summarised the state of knowledge about the treatment and prevention of common clinical conditions.
She went on train in general practice and continues to work as a locum GP in London.
